I have a 2k1 dark lcd with i believe the tag mod with the jb weld eyes. Is it possible to mod that to make it cleaner.?Thinking like the autococker eyes mod. Maybe possible to be able to change eyes in future without near death surgery?

It can be cleaned up with Eblade eye straps. You'll just need to carefully cut away the JB Weld, make sure the holes are aligned properly, and then drill and tap the holes for the Eblade covers. There's a chance the anodizing may be slightly damaged from removing the JB Weld.

If you contact TAG they might be able to help you out with the Eblade drilling. It's not one of their normal services though. If you know anybody with a drill press and a set of taps who isn't an idiot, it's a pretty easy job.

What you want to do with the Eblade covers is drill 2 small holes into the bottom of the body right next to the cut for the eye wires for the wire feet on the covers to fit into. Then fold it up the body and mark where the screw hole needs to be, drill and tap it for an appropriately sized screw, and you're in business.

Ok. Will start looking for covers. In the future tho. I have enough projects at the moment. Was thinking of lightening the gear bag if u know what i mean. Seeing what project is worth keeping and what not
