First post? Nope. As for the vibe, I'd say it's a sort of "low end" ion. If that's possible. Probably a less technical marker design. I have no idea why it only shoots 11.
It's capped at 11-bps so you'll be more eager to buy something more expensive (ie EOS, Shocker, etc). It's the same reason the Ion is capped at 17...so you'll buy a Shocker (or Nerve, at the time it came out).

I hate the 1400$ guns they have now. I view them as the "you got way too much extra $ if you buy this" gun. Not really, but I view them as excessive and unnecessary. I stick to the 100-200$ range.
And don't hate on the Talons, those are the ownage for woodsball.

but I agree, expensive guns are the pits these days. $1200 for a gun that costs $150 to make it kinda mean as far as I'm concerned. but from the talks in this thread (and probably future ones) it's soundsing like you guys would be happier with a regular Ion, than a lower-end Vibe. Being as it has a fast baord and eyes and such.

If I had the extra cash I'd get both just to fool around with and see what I could do to them. I'd rather like to see how a Vibe works than an Ion, because everyone knows Ions suck.

It is capped by the board at 11 to prevent chops. It has no eyes and a new solenoid to reduce the manufacturing costs and allow a lower cost entry point for an electropneumatic.
Capped at 11 to prevent chops? You can get a Halo B for 40$ easily and they are worried about preventing chops for their new beginner marker? What a rip off.
Blinc, I doubt you could get eyes for it and I highly doubt it takes ion boards. Possibly a custom eye could be made in the future if anyone cared enough.
