If that were true, then MAP prices must have dropped because I am pretty sure the prices were previously MAP...

I'll tell you what... this rumour that G.I. Milsim or at least Mr. Italia is moving to 68 caliber has been confirmed by two industry insiders.

That's good enough for me, so expect 50 caliber to fizzle out fast.

Because .50 paint is cheaper....Not as cheap as what they originally pitched it at but it is cheaper by a little...so I'm sure they're planning on people spending a little more to save more in the long run.

That is not true.

GI Milsim is going to stick with 50 caliber, but a few of their assembly lines may start producing GI Milsim 68 caliber paint.
