there are different ways to arrive at that 300 mark,
play with your dwell a bit if you have a stacked tube poppet,

honestly, what more could a player ask for now? Bob has you set in every category

This. Why are there so many high-end markers now? There will be more quality $1000+ guns available this year than decent mid and low-end markers put together.
No matter what anyone says, the majority of players don't have a grand to spend on a gun...

Just cause they dont have it doesnt mean they wont spend it. Im sure plenty of kids would rather ball then eat. All depends on their priorities.

You will not get as good of performance out of your gun if it is not set up properly.
Regardless of how you feel about Bob's numbers, I think you will be hard pressed to actually sit another gun next to the G6R with an SLP tank and beat its efficiency numbers even with the out of the box settings.
|
Most of the tards not getting the same numbers as bob have the LP poppet and not to mention that fact that the g6r can be tuned for smoothness or gas consumption, its all about how you dial it in

My old g6r could get very close to a case off a full fill, my vcom is getting around over a pod per 500 psi, so if this engine is slightly more efficient than the vcom I wouldn't be surprised.

Is that with the spool or poppet engine?

This makes me laugh. You have no idea how good you've/they have got it man. Complain complain complain
Drone DX - $430
Axe - $460
Etha - $395
DP g5 - $330
That selection should hold you off for oh I don't know, 10 years!
Not to mention the huge amount of used guns from 2008-2009 that run you $350-400. You know what a mid end gun used to be? An ICD Bko.

I never understood why that is. He had RL and infamous for a while, why no bobby team in the psp now? Just too busy making vics and g6r's?

Damn it bob you're killing me here... should have released this and the vcom at the same time. It's one hell of a gun though, anyway that he fuses this body style with the victory's lpr positioned in the front of the gun? I know that's basically a vcom but I really like the looks of this gun.

Timing-wise, it probably would have been a better business decision to sit on this for half a season. The fact that Bob pushed out the V-Com and the Insight so close to each other, I think, says he's about putting great gear in the hands of the players.

I'm currently studying business at PSU and yeah my professors would use this as an example of a bad marketing strategy but I mean it's Bob Long. Its clear that this guy just loves design new innovative guns and just throws them out into the Paintball community when he gets the chance; you have to admit that's pretty awesome of him.

Paintball News Rules |
- No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
- Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
- If you don't like something, say why instead of just calling it ugly, lame, gay or any other name. If it is old, simply post a link or report the post with a link to the older News thread.
- Please don't post links for places to buy items. That encourages stores, sponsored players and other people to do it and spam the site.
