Two words for ya buddy: Pinokio Pods

That extra capacity is great for breakouts! There will bunch much paint slingin' from the get go!

Oh yes. All that skill required to turn a pod upside down. The game will never be the same again.

I always thought that too. But after using it a few times, what i've noticed is you still load like you normally would (after you shoot 180 balls or so) in most cases, which then fills you back up again.

What I like most about this shell besides the extra paint you bring out on the field with you, is that you have a lot more freedom to load when you want to, instead of when you have to.

how ?

High capacity loaders do not lower required skill, they provide for some potential advantages for players.
You can delay longer without worrying about not having enough paint to run and gun into your bunker. You can run to your corner running and gunning establish a lane and dominance without the potential of loosing it while one handed reloading/shooting.

I don't care how accurate you are with one hand two hands on the gun will give the best accuracy/stability especially for gunfighting.

Think he means.... back players are like drummers; no brains, just muscle.
So having a higher capacity loader means they can aimlessly shoot down the lanes off break and not worry about reloading for a couple more seconds...

Is it a complete shell or just a bigger bottom shell?

I wasn't that drawn to the original Spire. Wasn't fond of the looks and honestly never had an issue with my rotors. But I'm sold on the Crown SF which I now use on my rotors and now this new design has me sold. I will be picking up one of these new Spires. Great job Virtue you guys are really pushing loader technology and making a lot of advances in a very short period of time!

Now that the cat's out of the bag, it's time to see an official announcement. I'm curious to see if this is an entirely new "second generation" model or just a new shell.

^^^^ This. I do mostly woodsball and it is super nice to be able to shoot my hopper down but not empty, and still be able to get another pod in without too much spilling paint on the ground. Especially before I do that next really stupid thing that I hope pays off huge.

This was also the real best kept secret from the extravaganza, since it was hidden in plain site on the wall of loaders we had! (only 1 dealer noticed..)

Heres a picture from our friends from Paint Supply in Germany. When they asked to take a picture, Chris grabbed it off the wall and put it in my hands!

But here's what I can tell you guys. We are still in the final testing stages and getting feeback from several pros and divisional players who are using these.

This product isn't a huge loader for back players. It holds 260 rounds, but is still smaller then a stock Rotor.

While several great back players like Dave Baines, Corey Field, and Nick Slowiak have been using these, front players like Greg Siewers, and Justin Rabakoff are also preferring it. Conversely Chad George, Kirill Prikhidni, and Alexander Berdnikov, who are some of the top front, mid, and back players all prefer their current size Spires.
Smaller than a stock rotor? Looks to be about the same size as my rotor with a high cap shell. It will be interesting to see some comparison pics.

Definitely glad to see that this is finally getting to production. I like having the larger capacity, and more importantly the option of both.

Will these be available as complete loaders? I havent purchased a Spire yet, and now I'd prefer to get one with these shells as opposed to buying a Spire and THEN getting the high cap shells.

They haven't said yet, bit IMO it will be like the Rotor High Top - and be a seperate price.

It appears as if the top is the same but the bottom is clearly different. So I would think it would either be offered as a completely different loader or a bottom upgrade.
