Wtf!!! These need to go out on the market soon!! They would make so much monnaaay. Were you saying that they didn't go out on the market because of that picture? Why didn't they???

They never were produced. Not a single pair was sold. The only ones out there are the samples that were not destroyed and they should not be used to play paintball (if any even exist).
It would help if you read first.

They will not be coming out. The company who tried to bring them to market is out of business. No one said anything about them not coming to market because of a picture. They didn't make it to market because they failed the basic safety tests all goggles go through.

We all know that we play for the most part at 285fps. If I remember correctly, one of the ASTM standards is that the lens has to withstand 800fps or something ridiculous like that. Way above and beyond what we play at, just in case of an unforseen instance when a tank/gun might spike and shoot a hot round. For all of our safety they wanted to make sure that all lens will withstand a blow like that. The Angel Eyes were breaking/cracking at 200fps. So the cost of going back and re R&D'ing far out weighed just killing the project.

man i would love to have this in my possession. to bad the failed. I wish they would have been picked up and re-evaluated/designed by someone. definitely a money maker id say. and different. on to the next i suppose.
