It would come up if she applied for a special duty but it won't take away points for promotion. and like I said, she was able to pass before the end of her EPR cycle.
the cliff notes of the back story is that she had one death in her family, then she became ill with gall stones, then she had some other health issues come up, and then her sister died in a car accident. All this happened in about 3-4 months. If all that wouldn't have happened and it was a full PT test failure I'd also agree that a five was undeserved.
as a male when testing waist you have to be below a 37. Not impossible but for a lot of people that doesn't leave a lot of room for error.

I'm back with you now. Thought you were talking about no markdowns.

No anger. Orvis just doesn't know **** and likes to open his mouth all the time. It'll get fixed one day when he does it around the wrong person.

Part of me wants to believe he is just a dedicated troll who just comes here to say stupid **** so everyone gets all wound up.
That is easier to stomach than thinking people like that would ever be in charge of a task so important.

I don't give af uck about what anyone says about filling boxes on the EPR. Like I explained to the Amn In my shop last week. Every block on that EPR represents your job. Your job is not just focussing on what your duties are as a 2axxx it's focusing on that, and being a well rounded amn. Sucks, but right now we're expected to go to school, volunteer with base and community, and pass a ****ing PT test. That's what we get paid to do. If you fail to meet any of those standards you're not measuring up as to what is expected of you as an AMN, NCO, SNCO, Officer, or whatever the **** you are. Our job is more than just fulfilling duties outlined by our AFSC.

the system's inflated, she's one of the top performers in her shop and she's only an A1C, and she got two markdowns. Everybody gets fives, even the ****bags. If the system wasn't inflated we never would have even had to have a discussion about where they should be marked because a four would have been a fair and accurate assessment and still would have her above the dirtbags.

For those of you who were discussing DE shaving, is this too cheap to start out with?

I don't know that much about DE razors and what are good razors and what aren't. And being on my phone I don't feel like researching a razor I'm not in the market for. I bought the razor and blades Crane recommended. Very happy with it but that said I just ordered a Merkur 39C slant bar razor as it gives a closer shave with fewer passes. Generally, you get what you pay for and am happy with what I have.

I'm not looking for the most super high quality to start out with. There's no point in dropping big coin if I end up not liking it.

Makes sense. I really would love to try getting into DE but like I said, I don't want to spend lots of money on something that I may end up not using.

that looks like the exact DE I started with. It's not the greatest, and is only about $11 at your local sally beauty supply (no homo).
It'll get you buy just to try it out and decide if you want to buy a nicer one though!

Pretty much what he said. It is fine to start with to see if you are even interested. If you are, then you can buy better stuff when you want.

I'm going to the store to see if I can find any other soaps and a brush, possibly some aftershave. If I can't find a DE there then I'll order that set. Do you recommend an aftershave that doubles as a good moisturizer? I have very dry face skin in the winter.
