The Pits are more-so staging areas.
Usually, I believe it's a 30minute window at least between each point played.

i meant between points not matches. also my girl is coming with me but shes not listed as staff, would she be able to chill in the pits and fill pods? or does she need to be rostered

last year you needed an ID to get into the "pit" area, but that could have changed this year

Yes put her on staff please...

as for the points, it is 30 min. Its not like PSP where you play your 3 points back to back. You play a game, get your point, play the next team get your point, play the next team get a point and then play your 4th team and get a point. Then it repeats itself.

This is how your scedule will look:

Game 1 YOU vs Team 1 (you play for 1 point)
Game 2 YOU vs Team 2 (you play for 1 point)
Game 3 YOU vs Team 3 (you play for 1 point)
Game 4 YOU vs Team 4 (you play for 1 point)
Game 5 YOU vs Team 1 (you play for 1 point)
Game 6 YOU vs Team 2 (you play for 1 point)
Game 7 YOU vs Team 3 (you play for 1 point)
Game 8 YOU vs Team 4 (you play for 1 point)
(then the 3rd point if needed)
Game 9 YOU vs Team 1 (you play for 1 point)
Game 10 YOU vs Team 2 (you play for 1 point)
Game 11 YOU vs Team 3 (you play for 1 point)
Game 12 YOU vs Team 4 (you play for 1 point)


In between each of those games will be other teams playing their games. I will try to find a sample scedule from last year to show you.

since we are running a modified PSP rulebook, im assuming that now we have to have our jerseys completely under our packs?

Its always doesnt hurt to ask. I will double check with the Ultimate. This is not something Im 100% on.. But I am positive he will go over it at the Captains Meeting in the morning too.

There are over 30+ teams for the d4/d5 5-man. Are we using two fields for that? To make things quicker. Or are we sticking with one field?

We are working on that now.. It may be one field, may seem like two are quicker but your games would be closer together and alot of rushing around.

If the brackets were split up to be played only on one field, it would alleviate these kinds of scheduling maladies.

exactly. and now that its a new rule (or one at least being enforced in the psp) I was curious if the MAPL will follow this rule.

personally im not a fan of having my jersey tucked but if i have to, wont bother me
