Question on efficiency. I noticed I dropped about 1k psi today shooting a little over a hopper. Granted it was 20 degrees out, but anything else possibly causing this? Any o-rings to check?

Open up the back cap (where the efficiency valve is) and make sure it's clean and there's nothing stuck in there. A lot of the vapors I get in for tuning are just FULL of debris back there....Don't you guys run filtered fill-nipples?

Ahh, no worries buddy!

So, look at the Vapor Breakdown link in my sig; (3rd and 4th pics)

You want to pull the engine out and take off the gold can and bolt. Then, use a tooth-pick or oring pick to push the lock down (it's the little hole on top of the back-cap). you can then slide the back cap off (but be careful; the pin on the bottom will come flying out if you don't keep your thumb over it)

after that, use an allen key to remove the two screws on either side of the silver cap and the valve and spring will come right out.

Ah perfect. Literally, that's the 1 thing I haven't cleaned cuz I didn't know how! The marker when i got it, as far as i could tell, had never been cleaned with about 4 cases through it. I'll definitely get on that asap.

For the record, finally shot the marker today and it was fantastic. Other than the poor efficiency issue, I loved the feel of it and the smoothness of the shot. I'm definitely committed to making this my main gun come next season

Fair warning I did this and that pin and back cap are not the easiest thing to reinstall It takes patience. I felt like the bottom half needed to be shoved further on once I got it but it doesn't it's supposed to seem like that and slant top forward (just look at back of gun and put bolt assembly back in most of the way reference). Look at the manual to make sure you know which what the metal rod with the hole for the pin on your back button goes. It has a little more stem on one side of the hole and if I am not mistaken that side goes down but just check the pic in manual if your eyes are good enough.

In other news... Quad ring testing is underway and will continue this weekend with 3 days of play. Don't know if I will have time to make a conclusion as Saturday is a clinic and Sunday is tryouts but maybe Friday and late Saturday or Sunday I can decide if it's worth swapping your orings. I will tell you this, you would NEVER get a leak within your breech and bolt assembly using all quads, they seal tons better even without any lubes they are more snug of a fit, but using quads straight across the board has a small drawback so far too. I'll know more when I can chrono this weekend and have time to slowly add and remove quads to see which ones help and which ones hurt. And hit up promod to join the Facebook group too.

Hey guys what's up, just got my vapor the other day and I must say this thing is dope. Only problem I've had is I can hear the battery moving around in the gun? Is there any way to prevent this? Thanks in advance for any help!

Nice and welcome! A piece of foam keeps my battery from rattling around.

beautiful colorscheme!

As for battery rattle, I find that a layer or two of electrical tape on the inside of the right grip pins it in place really well, however it will make the grips warp slightly.

Any marker that comes through me gets it's battery harness twist-wrapped though; I've found it to be the cleanest routing of wires and it helps combat rattle.

a small piece of cardboard wedged underneath the battery took care of the issue for me.

There was next to nothing in there. Cleaned it anyway but with no improvement =\

How fast did you fill your tank up and how soon after that did you shoot the gun and notice that you dropped 1k on a hopper? On a 20 degree day on a hot fill that you filled real fast that is very normal. Did you let the tank sit for like 20-30 before taking the first psi reading on the tank that you then say one hopper shot 1000 psi or was it from the fill station the number you saw and after a game it was 1000 less?

EDIT: I filled my tank up to about 4100 when I left the field today and now here is what it cooled down to without touching it.

I guarantee you your efficiency is fine unless before the hopper and 1000 psi drop you waited at least 30 minutes after filling up to look at that gauge with it so cold outside. As you can see my tank dropped about 800-900 psi just from cooling down to a mild Texas winter temp.

ah alright. I did wait a few hours, filled it up on the way home and did a few things around the house first. Possibly it was a combo of the tank cooling down from 4k + the cold that gave me the impression that my efficiency was terrible.

Need your help again promod.
This happens out of both my vapors.
At the end of a rope they both seem to blow the last ball or two. It happens with any loader I use. Spire, z2, or rotor. Any ideas?

This happens when a ball is free-falling into the breech (not being force-fed) This means that the ball isn't getting into the breech all the way before the marker fires. Make sure your breech delay is set to 6ms or higher.

Ok this has happened twice now....when I go to turn off my asa the little lever is almost impossible to move. last time I had to take out the screw holding the on/off lever and basically take the entire Asa apart to get it moving freely again. same thing happened tonight...after being aired up for a few hours the lever will hardly budge...

any ideas?
