I know. It's crazy.

The one time I changed it was for about 10 minutes. Paul and I went to ASMOT and made the same sigs, same avatars, and title line. Since we were both like 4 year ASM/SM we would post one right after the other. It took the people like 15 posts to realize it was two people posting and not one. That was when there was only like three badges, lol.

Close to 6 months of waiting:

All done. About a month and half on the suppressor.

Bad ***. Shot it yet?

Picking up two of these stripped lowers soon. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure I have the exact same backpack in that picture. I picked up a Streamlight TLR-1s for my G17 over Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Love it. Completing my lower sometime in the near future and waiting for Shot Show to see if any new uppers come out. Pictures to come.

In other news, clinched fantasy football playoffs a few weeks back. Currently sitting in first in my league. Woot.

Nice, I bought the TLR-1 at academy since I won a gift card there. I wanted the S but wasn't a big deal. Thinking of ordering a LaRue ACOG mount.

I got in playoffs but I play the 6th seed, and I am 5th. He has a better team, but I think I have more explosive players. Like if Andre Johnson goes ham again.

Yeah, the strobe is nice but I'm not sure if I'd ever deploy it in an actual defensive situation, maybe a dance party or something haha.

Oh, and I also got a new kydex holster fitted for the G17, light, and soon to come threaded barrel along with a kydex dual magazine carrier.

No idea who's bag it is. Just stole the pic from the guy selling them. It's an LAR lower. I like the Grizzly on the side as well.

My fantasy team took a hit with Percy being out. But I don't really care because I've scored the most each of the last 3 weeks without him and I still have Adrian Peterson, Doug Martin, Wes Welker, and Victor Cruz holding down the fort.

Back to this research paper I go. **** school.

I'm on the verge of buying a new handgun. So I am holding off an holster for the glock right now.

HK USP 45 right now is what I am looking at. Not sure if I will bite. We're ordering a Tirant 45 in the next week or so. This will be the host.

Edit: Ryan, I haven't shot it in this configuration. I put the upper on a friend's registered lower and shot it with his suppressor. Then when we were out shooting this weekend someone had an SBR in 300BLK that I am shooting in that picture Phil posted. Pretty sure that was an illegal SBR, he made no mention to a tax stamp, and I saw no engraving marks on the lower. Oh well.

I have AP and Martin, too. They've pretty much carried me through the regular season.

Another pistol is way down the road for me but it's either going to be a full steel framed pistol (i.e. 1911) or a subcompact for CC.

I bet that's no slap on the wrist from the ATF. Those are both your ARs in the picture above, correct?

I would love to have a handgun right now which looks to be my next purchase after these two lowers. One lower is for my current build and the other is just to have because I like the Grizzly.

$10,000 fine, 10 year jail time type of penalty.

Uppers are unregulated NFA items, so people don't understand that just because you have can it, doesn't make it legal. With suppressors you can't buy one and possess it.

Yeah both those rifles are mine. Only thing I want to change is to add a FF to the normal 16" one. I just don't feel like spending $200 on that when I could load up on subsonic bullets instead. Rollmarks on ARs add no value to me. I could just go get Ident to engrave whatever I wanted on mine for like $60.

I didn't think barrels under a certain length could be sold to just anyone. I assumed it was like the suppressors, the forms were needed for them to be released into the persons possession.

Shot a deer a few weeks ago with my AR using 55 gr. Nosler varmint ballistic tip. Those who say .223 shouldn't be used for deer are wrong. Put it right on the lung and she ran 30 yards and was down.

It can because barrels alone don't make up a SBR. You can make an AR pistol. So it isn't regulated because if you have a pistol lower you can buy any length barrel as long as you don't have a stock on it.

Ahh okay. I don't see the point in pistol ARs to be honest. Nothing about them excites me.

Some people make pistols while their tax stamp is pending. Others go the pistol route because they can't have an SBR due to state laws. I really don't see the appeal outside of that. Some people do it because they don't want to do the whole NFA process and they are lazy.

I think SBR's without suppressors are meh. The whole draw to me was that I would have to wait 6 months anyways for a suppressor to clear, and also the ballistics of 300 with an SBR are pretty solid. Plus when you add the 5" can to the barrel it's not over 16" still. Walking around with a 21" rifle is goofy.
