I just got back into the office late last night and worked all morning to get a gallery up. There will be more in the X3 Magazine coverage of the event in the July digital issue.

It was a blast being there, seeing everyone, playing and hanging out, and I thank Viper, the Legends, CPX, Blue's Crew, PBNation, the NPPL and everyone else for having me!

I hate to be "that guy", but someone took a picture of me in Bedlam during the final battle. I was in the Mod Squad jersey shooting an urban camo Darq/Prophecy, sporting my snazzy "Support Peyton" barrel band. Would love to find the picture once it shows up anywhere. It might well be the only picture of me looking like I can kind of play.

Actually one of those is me. I made LL3 being a Blues Brothers theme, and a big fan of the movie and Belushi in general. I toughed out the intense heat all weekend and sported the suit, tie, and hat on the field. I actually thought there would have been more people in the attire that weekend.
The benefit being the suit actually reduced the number of welts I received this event. The anti-benefit being I baked my *** off and needed to hydrate and cool down every hour or so.

So if anybody was wondering who was dumb enough to wear a full suit and hat in 90* scorch-earth weather... now you know, I am that dumb.

Oh. And just because it's too funny not to share, we drove this from Joisey to LL3 and back.

We had to wait for Foote and Freelance at an Ohio truck stop. For an hour and a half! People went up and posed for pictures randomly with the van while we sat inside and laughed. Except one of the times a group of old people were walking past, saw the van, and instead of taking a picture or laughing one of them picked up the cell phone and called somebody. So we thought we were about to have the cops show up and get arrested. Our response to that was to actually hand out free candy we bought at the store there, and have the 17yr old member do it. It was a well founded legal reasoning on our part.

Then later on after leaving the truck stop finally there actually was an Ohio State police officer driving past us, saw the van, and was laughing hysterically. Thankfully there wasn't an Amber Alert until Saturday (seriously, one of my my Blackberry news apps had a pop-up of an Amber Alert that weekend, later cancelled)or else we might've been delayed.
