Not sure how oil in the reg is gonna do anything but stick and attract dirt to where you dont want it...

Put oil in them holes only place it will go is straight to your noid id of thought which can help it but wont do anything to the regulator.

My advice if it works leave it well alone and if it dont regrease it properly it aint that hard to take apart if your careful.

Oi just saying please dont flame me.

How will it help though? Please correct me everyone seems to say drop oil in but no one really says what the goal is.

Take it apart theres plenty if oil gets into it aint gonna help.

I did it on a mini read the same over and over about oil in the reg I tried it made mine worse. Had a dirty noid that plus oil just made it stick like crazy took it apart and got all the oil out shoots perfect.

Anyway I aint no expert obviously but just saying I wouldnt unless someone convinces me otherwise .

Yeah it might but not by much soon as you air up its gonna get blasted straight out of the reg remember its oil it wont stick. Just saying what happened with my mini I used to do this and it was filthy inside when I finally stripped it down and cleaned it. To me all the oil did was gunk up my gun.

So you failing to properly clean out the inside of dirt, etc. and introducing a liquid agent which would cause problems in ANY circumstance is a reason to not lube the reg? Sounds like faulty thinking to me.

You want informed opinions? ALL of the major techs for AXE's (Lurker, Boss, and probably many more that know it just as well) as well as the EMPIRE approved techs all say to do so. If you're marker isn't filthy to begin with, it actually helps quite a bit if your reg is dry.

Someone please correct me if I'm wring, but putting oil into the fill nipple is rather dangerous. I recall an old thread of someone's tank exploding from putting oil into the fill nipple. I don't fully understand the concept, but it has to do with spontaneous oil combustion. Oil for Axes and Minis is meant to be put directly into the regulator, not the fill nipple of your tank. Again, please correct me if I'm wrong

LOL... ok just pour the oil in the feed neck it will be fine . Anyway eclipse oil is the same as cod liver oil so drink atleast two cups full before each game makes the paint chop less.

Nah seriously tho just saying with most people who are scared of taking stuff to bits oil is not some magical liquid thats gonna cure all. I would'nt do it unless my reg was playing up just as a last shot before I opened it up.

Yeah, hope you're kidding about the fill nipple, you probably need a new tank now, or at least tank reg. Getting oil in the tank is how you can end up with explosions. Or at least that's what I thought. Feel free to flame me if I'm wrong...
