There you go AJ - something else to check the marker for.

Scratches on a sealing surface of the bolt will act in exactly the same way as nicks on an o-ring - they break the seal of the o-ring and allow it to leak..... unfortunately, a scratched bolt isn't as easy a fix as changing an o-ring.....

Much as with a damaged o-ring, the end result of the scratch is that air flow through the bolt kit changes, and that can effect the function of the bolt.

Its a brand new gun so there shouldnt be any scratches. If that is the case though itll get taken care of What i said still stands though, it doesnt seem like a well thought out design.

Just an FYI, this little piece will work with aftermarket macro fittings even though it doesnt fit them like it does the standard PE fittings.

I just replaced my fittings with black ones and put this do-dad back in and didnt think it would seal properly but it does. If you notice on the stock fittings it fits into the fitting nicely, but aftermarkets it is more of a flat fit instead of recessed. Still works great though.

I don't know the price off the top of my head, but if you call 401 247 9061 and ask for Gerry, I'm sure that he will be able to sort you out - give it a couple of days though, as I believe that he is out of the office right now.

Each time you degas your marker, the marker is likely to fire. Doesn't matter if it is switched on, or switched off, it'll fire anyway. For safety's sake, you should have the purge control valve in place. It would only take a moment's inattention to degas the marker without the barrel bag on, and fire a shot unintentionally.

You mean get the purge control valve in a hardware shop? If so, no, I don't think these are a standard item.

As for the elbow, an adjustable wrench with a long handle does it for me.

Crap - just bought a used Geo. Tearing it down and giving it a good cleaning ('twas filthy), and I broke the PCV taking apart the regulator.

Register your marker with Planet online - I know it's used, but register it anyway: -

http://www.shop-eclipse.com/warranty-registration.asp

Then contact your nearest service centre, and hopefully they can sort you out with a new PCV.

You can look for your nearest service centre here: -

swapped out my fittings for a blacked out one and now i'm getting this problem. i made sure the pcv was in. i removed and checked the pcv for any damages and re-installed the fitting several times and problem persists. how far are you supposed to screw in the fitting? does that even matter?

Have you tried re-installing the original fitting?

If the fitting were screwed in too far, you would prevent movement of the PCV, and would limit air flow in to the reg. If the fitting weren't screwed in far enough, I guess the PCV could get out of alignment and jam in place.
