So I spoke with PE today they are already taking preorders for dealers for the GEO2...not yet for customers...My question is, why announce the GEO2 this early when their GEO+ has not even been released yet? My logic tells me that anyone who was thinking of purchasing a GEO+ will now just wait an extra month and there you go...GEO2...thoughts?

The original Geo was $1250, and every standard Ego released has been $1250, why would you expect any different?

In the pass I believe PE guns released at 1250 and all SL's are release at 1799?
The Geo when it first came out was certainly the case as was the the Ego 10.
Shouldn't be much of a surprise if the Geo2 is priced at 1250

Trust Planet not to do this without good reasoning. There will be substantial differences between the two, and people will still snag both of the shelves quickly. With this, Planet effectively corners the mid end market (Etek3 LT & AM, Geo [as a price drop is expected for base Geos], and the Geo+) as well as keeping strong contenders in the high end market as well.

I'll be picking up a Geo2 for sure, and possibly a Geo+ for good measure.

geo 2 is the next generation - new milling and all the up = 1250 is probably the release price...
