Complain to your ISP or ESPN, that's where the issue lies, not on NPPL's shoulders.

Well it kinda is Nppls fault, they are the ones who wanted espn to do the webcast , so they should of done their research first before agreeing to anything.

I don't blame NPPL teaming up with ESPN at all, even if they cut out a lot of viewers.

I'm sure there's more to it, and I have very little to no doubt that if they were streaming and hosting it on their own site it would be lower quality and would probably have a price tag attached.

The problem is between ESPN and the ISP, most of the times if there are enough complaints to an ISP and they WILL pick up other channels.

They did their research. It's not NPPL's fault ESPN isn't in Canada.

Move somewhere else

Didn't know Canada made up half the world.

Can't come out blaming ESPN/NPPL.

ESPN3 also isn't supported by tons of ISPs in the U.S. Like mine.

That is weird it doesn't work for everybody. I am stuck at a hospital and watching it on my laptop with the hospitals slow wifi and it looks great. Even watching full screen looks amazing. The camera work is pretty damn cool. Best live PB yet.

You're mad at the NPPL for trying to expand exposure for this sport by letting ESPN stream it live for free? Am I missing something here?

Ya it sucked that not everyone got to watch but its not NPPL or ESPn's fault. If the internet provider you have stops you then call them just like it says on the ESPN3 site. As far as having ESPN (The world leader in Sports) broadcast a free live feed, thats awesome for the sport. The feed was great & the camera angles were incredable. Not like the stuff NPPL or PSP put out. I give both companies an A+ for the first time ever doing this an I'm sure in the future they will correct tech problems for all.

And for all of you who cant watch ESPN3, try this link tomorrow. Worked today,
http://pblive.tv/

Wow no matter how good things can get (paintball back on ESPN=GOOD) there is always someone to complain about something. GJ to pblive for helping those who couldnt watch due to ISP issues.

I read a blog from Planet Eclipse this morning saying that they assembled an all-star broadcast team to make sure that paintball's big day was as pretty as it can be:

Quote:
Simply put, this piece is being filmed by the ‘A-TEAM’ of Paintball video production people. In the past, the people filming have had little or no experience in shooting paintball, thus missed a lot of the action. This time it’s a star studded Paintball-Filming ‘Who’s Who’. HMFIC is Brad ‘ Beastman’ Maughan, ETV’s Main camera guy and ex Dynasty Player; Dan Napoli, ETV’s director; Pat Spohrer & Aivren Antonio from Monkey With a Gun; Rob from Der Der; Tyson Maughan; (ETV Rivalry cinematographer) & Sami Ansari (ETV Season 1-2, Dynasty Dysected); Narrated by Matty Marshall himself !!
