Damn good work by Planet if you ask me. Consumers have been asking for more affordable mid/high ends and they are delivering just that. Anybody that compares a product like this to an Ion has some impaired judgement. Not saying the Ion does not fill the niche it was after, but this is definitely in a different class.

As far as current ego owners fretting about resale dropping on their current guns...welcome to consumerism. People are always drawn to the next, shinier, lighter super gadget that comes out. This just gives consumers of all financial backgrounds a chance to get what is right for them. Keep in mind also, there are always going to be people who will pay more for a higher end piece of equipment due to performance, style and status. For approximately $750 give or take, the value is definitely there and I will definitely pick one of these up when they come out...its just a shame they wont be out by Chi-Town

i was looking at the manual and the 05 manual and instead of the QEV's the etek has elbows, does anyone know if they were pretty much the same size so that someone could possibly just add in some QEV's?

adding in qev's would not do anything because the gun is only as fast as its slowest part (I dont know what that part is) but Im sure its not the valves... EDIT: Im guessing its the bolt and ram
