This computer has always been taken care of, never overclocked, and periodically cleaned. it runs just like the day i bought it. main reason im selling it is because i don't game anymore, and this is way too powerful for anything i want to do on it, but its a great system and im sad to be letting it go

i've built with nvidia's. don't really like em, they fail more often than ati for me. and i feel ati is alot smoother with i7. nvidia goes well with a phenom set up. both great graphix card companies though though. i guess there isn't that much difference unless your running stuff with 3D rendering and such though. this is more than enough for a gamer

Yea really hoping to get it sold asap. I need a macbook. So i wanna sell this, and put that money into a new one so i have as little to add as possible. Its an alienware M11x and according to what you need, I think this thing should be great as its not a weak computer at all and can still handle some gaming if you wanted to play something.

Question is what happened that you needed to replace the GPU/Hard drive/Disc Drive.

my warranty was ending, so i ran a windows diagnostic test. it said there was a problem with the disc drive, which i hadn't known because i actually don't use it, and hadn't used it since i first got it(came preloaded with drivers). i told dell that it was also loading games slower than usual and that they would freeze up. they said that it might be the drivers(which i knew, because i didn't bother updating to the next version driver lmao), but i just convinced them to give me new ones because i didn't want to worry when im out of warranty in a month. i am now out of warranty, but it works perfectly and im not worried =D
