Send it to Damon and have him hook it up for ya.

I'm sure he wouldn't charge much but, its not exactly very simple. If you had the correct solder points and such, then it would be a little bit easier but if you don't have any experience with soldering electronics I'd recommend you have someone else do it.

if am reading this right ur trying to remove the noid from the board. there are just four contact points. u need to slowly just heat and pull on each cornner until it comes lose thats all its takes some time, i have done it myself. just take ur time its not hard. remember just heat and give tension and repeat till you wiggle it off and do the same when u put the new one on

the new noid doesn't actually connect to the board only the wires from the new noid will. I think I just solder them to the contact points where the red wires are. I'm just not sure how to do it. Remember it's a mac noid. I should just find a spitfire board so I can just plug it in.

bought spitfire board so install will be a piece of cake. I guess for a stock board I had to remove noid and solder wires to the bottom 2 holes. I tried to remove the noid and the metal inserts that are in the holes came out so I wrecked the board. trial and error I guess I am not good at un soldering. I should have just sent it to damon but I had to try. thanks deathwish for the great deal on the spitfire board.
