back in the game. what's new?
Hey nation. Getting back into things after like a year and a half off. What's changed (if anything)? Mostly wondering if the trends are still the same (paint is still generally small, cockers still arent something that any companies produce new, etc.)

/\ New 'classic' style 'cocker from empire.
Everythings still pretty much the same. Virtue loader called the spire, a whole lot of new high-end markers, and the continuing push of mag-fed milsim style markers. Nothing too extreme though, really.

Umm, it seems like playing pump is the "hip" thing to do right now. Before people get all uppity, I'm not knocking it, hell, I know plenty people that are straight deadly with a pump. However, it seems like kids right not believe its the cool thing to do. They also usually take out a whole team of speedballers by themselves on a daily basis.

just saw the resurrection. that's pretty cool that they're going to try to bring it back. there's just something so cool about the way they shoot that you can't get with like an ego. I did notice that there is this hopper that looks like a rotor but is a lot sharper and more angular. is that the spire? and is gog finally off its feet? wondered if they would even last.

Seems to me like paint size has been pretty much the same the last few seasons.

I'm assuming he's referring to the whole what used to be .689 is more like .683 thing.

Yeah. That's what I meant. The Draxxus paint at my field was overboring at .679 two years ago. Now it's like .684 ish so I guess that means yes

While I doubt those pump kids are taking out entire teams by themselves, it's also dangerous to underestimate pump play. A good pump shooter can be held down by one electro and then swarmed, but if your team ignores them because it's a pump and they are able to maneuver, they're just as effective as electros.
