Yes on checking for dimples but no on bore matching - bore matching is actually the worst of the 3 choices. Depending on the paint, bore matching can lead to inconsistent shots...more so than overboring or underboring.

I'd stay away from matching. Overbore or underbore is your best bet .

i dont understand why everyone says paint is too small.

i didnt know .68 cal paint should be .689 in size? .680 would be perfect, and a .678 barrel would be the underbore for it and a .685 would be an overbore. paint is the correct size these days.

valken redemption is a great paint and consistently size .685, at least it was for me all season.

if you get your paint from walmart then make sure that you never get RPS stingers. that was the worst day of play ever. ill never buy them again. they curved so much that i couldnt even hit anyone while shooting 15bps ramping. it was just horrible

when i first started i was shooting stinger with my kaos using co2, every ball either broke ur curved like a *****, and my walmart sell the new nightmares, thats exactly what it is too a nightmare

I've had a case of echo sitting in pods since October in my gearbag that I use to tech guns. It's still round and flys straight even in 15 degree weather. The Valken people are doing something right for even their low end paint to be this durable
