^Same here. Got my 360 within a month or so of them coming out, IIRC Microsoft did a recall and Best Buy gave me one of the new units. Either way, I've had it for years, along with my PS2 and Wii, and none of them have had problems. My brother's 360 works perfectly, the case is even cracked he's dropped it so many times.

You can use a wired xbox controller with a PC on most games.

There are some sports games that never come to PC though. Like Madden, I don't think Madden is on PC.

look a PC makes the most sense on paper, i get that..but i know im personally not gonna switch over to PC while everyone i know is playing on xbox. the most fun part of games (for me and im sure a lot of others) is playing with friends.

and if you're gonna build a PC, buy the game and and xbox controller to plug into the PC..why not just get an xbox for $110 and play with everyone I know?

The amount of simulator games on PC that blow forza and GT5 out of the water is not even funny.

I can understand the appeal of a console. Not to mention i really ****ing want GT5 on pc. Although one plus side of using a pc is the drastic decrease of 12 year olds screaming into mics.

because flight and train sims compare to the two best racing franchises of all time

all im saying is that its down right ignorant to say there is no reason to game on a console, just look at how many consoles have been sold, either recently or forever.

Sony dropped the ball with their exclusives, IMO. None have been nearly as popular as they were in the PS2 era. There hasnt been Kingdom Hearts 3, SOCOM was completely destroyed, i dont know anyone with God of War [doesn't mean it isnt great, but its not popular for some reason] and Gran Turismo was released too late and only had awesome graphics on the exotic cars (a huge let down). MGS4 was the reason i bought the PS3 and i dont regret that, but they could use another MGS game.

Some are excellent though; like LBP, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, MGS4 and im sure im missing others..just saying the exclusives arent quite what they used to be. Could very well be my nostalgia goggles though

because it's our fault that the xbox gets the red ring and just stops working, and then they send 5 more that do the same thing?
