My lubing guide, my solution to your problems.
okay, ive seen quite a few threads where they didnt know whether or not they were overlubing or not. so i made a lil guide with pics on how to lube your gun.
okay, heres what your parts should look like dry
or, unlubed.
now, ill show you how i find easiest to lube. you get a lil lube on your finger and put it over the oring. then hold the part between your fingers, and vary the pressure to let more or less lube build as you spin the part, and let the excess build on your finger. as shown here.
now, what you want to look for, is that the sides of the oring are filled with lube, and theres a very thin layer over the actual oring. as shown here.
you can see the lube on either side of the oring, and a VERY thin layer over the actual oring along with the metal part.
this, is NOT what you want.
globs of lube, much much too thick. way too much in the grooves, and a thick layer over the oring. this will work okay, but the excess will move away as you shoot, once all the excess is shot out itll look like how youre supposed to lube it, as seen above.
simply a finished pic.
pos any other questions. your results may look a little different if using pure lurker or pure dow33. i mixed the 2 since thats easiest to see by camera for this guide.

I'm sure people will find this useful so thanks for posting it.
My first impression was "wow has it really come to this?", but i work with o-rings, gaskets, bearings, shims and seals on a daily basis so what i find rudimentary others i'm sure will find useful.

Lube like this no matter what lube you use. All that you need is a thin layer. Hater just says that so that you will use more lube and then buy more from them. Its called marketing.

They should, but then you would not have been able to find it.

Forgive some of our answers. Especailly ones about being a newb. I am still new to this too but have I read the stickies and listened to what everyone says and watched the videos and even I get tired of seeing stuff that is in the stickies posted over and over. I am sure eventually I am gonna ask something that is addresses in the stickies and get the same answers as everyone else but if you try to atleast find the answers yourself first it isn't as bad.

Think it was just over a week turn-around time from when i paid for mine vs when it arrived at my house.
I'd say if you haven't received it by Monday maybe give them a call and see what's up.

2. This section probably actually needed this lol
Im not hating, just making an observation.

yeah. way too many people are having troubles just from overlubing.
its hard to overlube with lurker, but with dow33 too much lube=problems.
