On a related note, my dad is loving his new 5.0 F150. He said he likes how it sounds, and is getting around 15-16 mpg with it.

Yeah I really want the 5.0, it makes more power than the 5.4 and gets better mileage. I haven't run into anything with my 5.4 that I couldn't haul if I wanted to, and honestly I don't want to buy fords first stab at turbos (at least in a gas engine).


I'll end up getting a but less than that because I'll be getting a 4x4, and I drive my cars like I've stole um.

As far as I know, the Ecoboost has been really good, but they probably aren't in your price range. It's considered the premium engine.

It's only an extra 1,500, and I briefly was looking into 6.2s. But that really is more truck than I see myself needing. And I plan on keeping the truck til it cost more to repair and fill up than it would be to buy a new truck. My next vehicle will be a mustang in 10 years or so, I know ford can design a v8 to last that long, I'm not sure about a TT v6. And google "ecoboost shudder" there are plenty of stories out there and I realllllly don't want that to happen to me when I'm gonna pass some one.

Why do you need a health card?

I thought everyone got commiecare there.

Think of it as socialized insurance. Basically they just use it to keep track of where you get your healthcare and show you're covered. You can't even use it as ID because there are so many fakes. Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure we're the only province that uses them. Some stuff is federal, others are provincial
