Well a couple of people have held it so it does exist its the release date that might be nonexistant.
I have more then enough money stashed away now and the more they wait the more I can toss into the gun IF it comes out.

true but i see a ABUNDANCE of hype a TWO+ YEAR development time and still no real PRODUCT.
I really want this company to succed I dont want to have to fall short and buy a shocker or a freestyle. However i cant buy what is not available. It is especially irksome how we have not heard word one from powerlyte about the staus of the isis.

That's blasphemy. From what we have seen, I would say they are very close to releasing something. It may be more information, a finalized design, pre-orders, etc. They are way too close to give up.
They have the grip finished, they have the body designed, the boards should be near completion if not already completed. There really isn't much left aside from tests and tweaking.

it really seems as if the project will be shut down or half assed rushed out ....the longer they wait the more improvements theyll have to make to keep up for the on coming market. my personal guess is that itll end up coming out for the 06' season or later on this year.

If they were going to do a "half a$$ed rushed out" kind of job, it would already be out.
However, I have no idea what would take a company so long to produce a marker.

I think I agree with that person that said '06 season...
that sounds about right.
with the progress on this, Powerlyte could've had a gun build then had to start over for some reason and still have a good product... this better be good

i hate to be rude and say it, but im surprised these guys are still in business. cockers and barrels, and a few other smaller things and thats fueling the whole company.
i was really hopin to have an isis for this season. it would be a second marker, so i didnt mind waiting, but these updates every 3 months to say "our trigger is done" is killin me. i hate to be rude and all, but theres something they arent telling us. i've fabricated entire bodies for mini-bikes and go-carts, and had them outfitted with engines, everything, in less than 6 months. not i can believe in a weird way it might be easier to do what im doing, but regardless. if powerlyte had sais "here is out plan, we'll spend one year on the bolt, one year on the body and other internals, and one year on the grip frame and board" they would have still been done before now.
im not mad.. angry, anything. im dissapointed.

True, but I think powerlyte is into perfection. Their barrels are a great example of this.
I personally think that they are going to make the Isis the best it can be the first time. Thus, if they see room for improvement, they will spend time working on it; which, after awhile, becomes redundant.
Yes it may only take 6 months to fabricate a bike, but powerlyte has to make a mass produciton modle. And this marker has to not only performs flawlessly, but it also has to be reliable and has to look "AGG." I mainly emphasize on those three points: performance, reliablility, and looks.
I really have no idea what I am talking about, but I base my assumptions off of the fact that their barrel is what many consider to be "non-improveable/as good as it gets."
EDIT: Aren't they designing their own regulator also? If so, that could take awhile longer.

Powerlyte isn't only in the paintball industry my friend, they maybe losing money on paintball till they have markers, but they get alot of money outside of paintball. Should you be interisted, they list alot of the industries they work in under "custom" at there home page ( www.powerlyte.com)

I do know of one person who has. His name is field owner around NC, who is probably unknown to you, he has shot it because he has some contract with powerlyte, i dont remember the details though. I can get you some more information. I think he is also a distributor or something of that sort.
They were going to have the Isis out for testing at some big paintball gathering, but the company making the boards made ones that didn't fit the grip so no one could shoot these markers. But yes Isis does exist and does shoot paintballs. haha

Until I see a video of it shooting, there is no working prototype.

I know with 99.99999% accuracy that there is a working prototype...and the .00001 is paul may have taken it apart..
I know the field owner that Raiogon is speaking of I saw and speak with him daily, because he's my boss...
The Isis is real my friends...and its still coming...Powerlyte has just had the problem of running into every single problem that a company can run into doing these things.

Forgive me for being pessimistic, but if there really is a working prototype, why not show it?
Put a disclaimer saying it still needs a lot of work, but it would be nice to see the progress that's been made.
