I was referring to the "sidebars" aka bookends. As far as I know, John never said that the "content blocks" on the front page would not be used for advertisements because that was pretty much part of the game plan from day one (it pays the bills).

When I got on yesterday I was like "what the ****?" Because everything was so white and I hated it compared to my usual blue/grey theme. But I tried out all the current new options and the 2013 greys (fluid) seems almost identical to what I'm used to so I'm happy with it. Could use some blue though.

I like them! I use the new pbnation greys theme and it looks great!

Personally, I don't see what all of the fuss is about. I happen to like the new layout, mostly because I really don't even notice that anything has changed. Now, if the dark layout that I use (PbNation Greys 2013 (Fluid)) gets taken away, then I'll be a little irritated, mostly because forums with white backgrounds hurt my eyes after a while.

On Topic: The fluid greys are working for me. i still miss the dark red but as long as 2/3 of my screen isnt useless sidebar, then i guess its ok.

I couldve sworn that ASM money/donations were used to fund part of the bus project. of course i cant find the thread about it because "pbnation bus" provides terrible results in google. I could be wrong though but i remember an uproar of pissed off people because their donation money was wasted.

What specifically? That's a pretty general comment. Do you mean the page background? The other colors are the same as the greys theme we've had forever, for the most part.

I much prefer the original "Greys" color scheme and layout, but I tend to hate change. I personally don't see a need to change anything, and the fixed width themes are annoying to me and don't seem better in any way except apparently easier to code for.

If this is what we're going to then so be it. I'll get used to the new 2013 Greys since it is pretty similar, but I'm not excited about it.
