[Iowa's#1Stunna]

NPPL - Kicks off 2013 with the Hawaiian Challenge and Huntington Beach Surf City USA Open.

The NPPL has scheduled 8 stops this year, adding four new events to the 2013 World Series Title. Each event will be classified either a 4 star or 5 star event. 4 Star events will be sanctioned and operated by the NPPL in conjunction with the field promoter. Teams will receive NPPL series points for playing in 4 star events which can go towards the over NPPL World Series Title.

The league will offer the following title series divisions for 2013:
* Pro - 7 man S7 Race format
* Semi Pro / D1 - 7 man S7 Race format
* D2 - 7 man traditional capture the flag format
* D3 - 7 man traditional capture the flag format
* D4 - 5 man traditional capture the flag center flag format
* Young Guns 3 man center flag format
* Pro 2V2 format (only played at 4 Star Minor events)

1st place NPPL Trophy plus $1200.00 Off NPPL entry fee

$1000.00 entry fee
Prize package - Earn 80% NPPL Series Points for all teams
1st place Trophy plus $1000.00 certificate Off NPPL entry fee

Hawaii usually has pretty good turnouts for how remote they are, stilll not sure how big it can be. Most pro teams who play NPPL would go I would think since it is giving points towards series title even tho this is one of their 4star events.

Pretty sure the way they set it up this year the pros and semi-pros only play 5 star events. That's what separates them.

the hawaiian event are targeted for the western pacific islander teams or teams that close to that area. these teams would rather fly to hawaii than to USA and it's not meant for the USA paintball players.

ok, the way the OP was laid out was a bit confusing since he listed the league format between the hawaii and HB info, but now I see he starts the division listing for Hawaii at D2.

They still have a good turnout for their events for where they are, just not pros this time.

But...If the NPPL isn't bearing any cost then it's pretty much like PSP's affiliated league system
