Necessary mods

FYI the following modifications are a must: 4MM QEV + Violent magnetic trigger + proper barrel to make the Extcy become a ravenous beast. I was able to roll the trigger super fast and have the gun hard pinpoint shots cross field all day; It's also worth noting that the Extcy is now about as accurate as my NT11. In stock trim it's not bad, just that these mods turn a good Extcy to an awesome Extcy. Just my input I felt it was worth mentioning. Anyone else feel the same way?

I'd take a Firebolt over a new trigger any day of the week. The stock trigger works fine if you're playing in ramping. The stock barrel also shoots pretty decently if sized properly to the paint.

im using a deadlywinds barrel and love it.. also just ordered a NT11 so I cant comment on how that shoots yet. But the extcy is SMOOTH and quiet!! FUN to shoot and I enjoy it more than my axe actua

only mods I did were the 360 and tech t bolt..moved dwell down to 15 and shoots 280's all day. No kick at all

I used a CP barrel, 360 qev and a techt bolt. Only things i felt like I needed to change. I loved the stock trigger and couldn't think of any reason to change it.

Now, I can't say they were "necessary" mods. Just personal changes I wanted to make. The marker shoots amazing right out of the box, and you don't have to change anything about it to have a great marker to play with.

I remember at the pball shop the tech and I were dry firing the gun, rolling the trigger and we could hear the bolt almost not making a full cycle at one point. It really was weird since I have never experienced anything like it. So we threw a QEV on and tried it again, voila no more issues. The gun had been lubed prior so that wasn't the problem and it was all stock except for the trigger.

I mean comparing to the dye NT and even the axe its a GREAT shooting marker!! Easy to tweak and shoots so smooth. I tell everyone they should take a look at it if they are starting out or even have played for years! I cant sell mine cause I like it so much LOL

hmm... could have been, I didn't check the dwell but it was stock so the dwell had to have been as well. I have the dwell on 18 ms now and it is very consistent over the chrono many times within 2 fps.
