Bob, don't rush the anodizer. I want my custom work to be perfect and don't mind waiting the extra few weeks. Always better to get it done right then have to send it back for flaws (more time).

The problem that we both have is you give custom anno as an option.

How many paintball manufactures offer you the ability to pick your own custom anno... 1 = Bob Long

Sure DLX and some others will offer production runs of custom anno guns. They release pics of them when they are done and don't take 1-1 custom jobs on a regular bases for there customers.

Offering a customer (like myself no doubt) to order one single gun in there color options is a nightmare.... Logistically.

I am sure you are ready to throw in the towel and tell everybody "Here is your all black gun, you go have it custom anodized".

I hope you read this Bob and I applaud you for giving customers the nightmare option that is called full custom anno... I have no doubt you are thinking about dropping the service. But

for making those videos and giving everybody the rare ability for custom factory anodizing. Chris

to you Bob, its time someone tries to put the record straight and make some of these kids see reality. Im glad to support BLAST as I have for many many years, as well as my team. Quality takes time, and BLAST is the only top quality producer out there IMO.

Haters can go and buy their made in china and taiwan stuff from empire, eclipse and dye. These companies pay 1/8th of what they charge and have nothing to do with it except the initial design and to pay the asian machine shop to make it, assemble it and throw it in a box then stack them in a shipping container.

edit: also forgot to mention that probably 95% of my arguement with people that is blast vs XX company all haters have to say is either 1. Bobs guns leak/my "friends" always leaks. Its always what they hear or what they can make up. or 2. Bob doesnt offer packaging like other companies, they just give you a box with some foam. Kids dont seem to realize the mark up involved with allen keys, barrel cover, tube of lube, a plastic case and a printed manual. They pay for it in the end, if companies did away with all that, you'd be seeing their guns selling for atleast 200 dollars less, unless they have such a massive nut hugging following that will still pay current prices without all the little goodies.

Anybody else get teary eyed and want to sing"God Bless America" after watching that video. Being in my mid 40's and working for the largest American Aircraft Fuselage manufacturer it hit home. My son shoots nothing but Bob Long Guns. No sponsorship necessary.

I'm not saying we haven't had to wait for something or wondered where an order was or have something repaired, but we get it.

Damn straight. I believe MacDev is exactly like this as well: manufacturing everything themselves and trying to take on the bigger companies. At least they were with the original Clone and previous (no knowledge afterwards).
