I'm working on a flyer now. I'm just trying to verify the date. Its gonna be college teams, High school teams and an open division. Depending on how many teams sign up for each will determine how many divisions there are. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE IN A COLLEGE CLUB BUT YOU MUST BE A COLLEGE STUDENT TO COMPETE IN THE COLLEGE/HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION. If there are more then six teams signed up in each division then they will be seperated.

There is already an estimated 6 teams waiting to sign up. college and high school is 3 man and the open will be 5 man. Open meaning Open to all players

we finally have a date! the first lobo cup will be at los lunas may 13th a flyer will be out in the next few days!

edit: college and high school teams will not be able to use electronic markers if the majority if teams don't have electronic markers this is to make the competition fair.

like I said it depends in how many teams have electric markers vs the ones who don't this tournament is geared towards growing the sport I hope I get enough teams so I can separate the ones that do from the ones that don't which is only 5 teams each.

Well if they know that they won't be able to do it.... Then they shouldn't register. Or make beginner/open so they can HOPEFULLY compete with teams of their own caliber.

Are you still looking at having the open side to this tourney? If so, will you have the same stipulation about not electronic markers?

Yes there will be an Open division in this tournament that will allow electronic markers. The reasoning behind no electric markers for high school and college is simply to keep the competition at a somewhat fair advantage for people who have never played before or don't have the money to upgrade to an electric marker. This tournament is not benefiting anyone and most of the profits will go towards prizes and to bettering the Los Lunas Paintball field Entry fee for High School and College teams WILL INCLUDE A CASE OF PAINT

^ I think 6 is more accurate for a gravity style hopper the mechanical users would use. This sounds like a good idea as I have no mechanical marker to use but want to play in the college division.
