I never see why people are concerned with the age of the footage.

If it's amazing, it's amazing regardless of when it was filmed... that's what's awesome about film/video... it captures the moment/event in a timeless form.

But to answer your question, it's most likely from 06/07 and 08, and through 09.. Pat has been working on the PSP Webcast. From what I know he was editing it since 07ish too.

The shots from the trailer are amazing (slow-mo ball dodge at :56, the 1 ball at 1:20). If Pat's willing to tease us with these, the movie is going to be out of this world. I can not wait.
