KP2 or KP3 What is it?

Ok guys I need your help I have had this for years in the basement
and decided it is time to fix it up. If any one has pdf manuals for it
would be helpful. I was thinking of adding a spring fed loader tube
and haveing everything polished inside and out. Sugestions would be great

I'm going to have to say it's a kp3 with the df removed and a home brewed sc feed adapter. I only say so because the lower tube is not flush with the barrel, it's shorter like a kp3 BUT I'm not a kp pro.

Korean is right, its a late model KP3 or Pirahna rifle, you can tell by the slide safety. KP2's and early KP3's had the rocker safety.

Pirhana, for sure. The flat back gives it away.
That rocker safety mentioned needs a tapered back block.

I should read the actual question...
Vrex has a page for the KP3, it has a manual that would be pretty much the same thing:
http://www.vintagerex.com/cgi-bin/in...20-%20Sheridan
Scroll down to manuals.

KP3 in that condition is worth closer to $200.

KP2's with the original side tube magazines are the ones that bring the big bucks.
The early KP3 below sold for $350 not too long ago.

And it's also a kp2-df...it has the older style "rocker" safety trigger group, plus the kp2 stock.

That's not a KP2-DF it's a KP-3 you can tell right away by the top and bottom tube lengths being different.

EDIT: WOAH forgot I had searched for KP-3 and dug up this ancient thread. OOPS
