I like this one the most so far, lighter and easier to machine too

V2, deeper front chamfers

I'd suggest a high rise rail site.Bullpup aren't too mask friendly for sights.I use a Flex with mine and it works with the 2X40 bowsight I'm using for eye relief, the sightrail is about 2+ inches above the top of the stock.I like Kingskys idea of a folding stock by flipping his MP stock upside down
Great job on the renders and getting this so compact

Now that's a pdw! #3 is sweet. What's the approximate barrel length?

Holy crap thats short. That really is a super compact PDW. The p90 is about 20" long. That seems almost uncomfortably short. Any idea on how much it would weigh?

Found this today:
https://www.pbnation.com/showthread.p...&highlight=ion

It's just inside an airsoft shell, so not as cool as milling an entirely new body, or creating an entirely custom body, but it looks great! And it is magfed.

Your stock came in today, it's given me an idea on how to do one, it will be a two button push pin style that springs out of the back of the gun. I'll see what i can draw up.

This thing wasn't easy, a lot of tight tolerances and i still don't have the spring mechanism drawn and the dust cover for the valve is still interfering with the trigger mechanism.

Should add up 4" of extra travel though. It's so tight in there that i don't think i will be able to make a version without the adjustable stock which means ^$^. There is no good way to mount a cheap rear cover without pretty much machining the whole adjustable stock butt again(majority of the cost). HDPE might be a possibility. it'd be a cheap/light alternative to fill that in for no-adjustable models but i can't guarantee it.

Sounds complicated. But a very cool and unique feature.

And theres no way to mount a cheap butt pad from Magpul or something for the non-adjustable models?

Oh, and this is just my opinion of course, but the rounded front looks a little off when you have such strong angles everywhere else.

You been playing with longer shrouds for 14 and 16" barrels at all?

Also, if you were still worried about the mag being too close to the grip, check this nonsense out:

wow that is really close.

I haven't messed with a 14 or 16 yet, a 13ci tank with a M203 shroud wouldn't look to bad though, the 203 would be a bit longer than the barrel but i don't think it will look terribly bad.

I haven't done much more on the design, i ordered springs last week and i'm waiting for them to come in. I still need to design the mag release, front airline route and then hollow it out as much as possible.

I pulled major gf agro this weekend though so im treading lightly on my computer this week. I'll probably have some time this weekend to work on it and i'll try and get that stock mailed back to you this friday.

Wow, I forgot about this thread...
Looks like y'all are pretty serious about this! I'm jealous of all the SolidWorks drawings you people are doing. I had access to SolidWorks most of last year and loved drawing crap on it. Then there's the SketchUp drawings I saw...I wish I was that good...

Well crap.
Empire came up with something new. Ugly, but new. Thought I'd share it on here, even though it's not really bullpup, it's still a pretty significant redesign of the standard system by putting a hopper behind the marker. Not FS though.

$1300, plenty of room to work with . I like the idea, not to fond of the aesthetics. That's definitely going to push the bar with other manufacturers though. Who is going to want to have a hopper sticking out now when you can get a stock fed marker? To bad you can't aim down the sights.

Haha, as someone who has been watching this thread I must say its neat that empire has come out with a bullpup sort of marker, the price is a huge road block though.

Seriously. I was watching the trailer, reading the thread going "Now that's something I could buy." And then I saw the price.
