Luxe getting terrible efficency

Today my 2.0 was only getting a spire and 4 pods MAX on a 68/45. (Towards the end of the fourth I would run out of air. Dwell is at 14, FT in and manifold screw is 3 turns in from flush. I have both the 2.0 core and pooty core... What do I do to improve efficiency??? I already inspected the orings on the drive and they look fine...

my best advice is redo all the orings on the can, bolt, ect. watch pootys video on oring fitment and go from there

Make sure the middle can oring is a good snug fit, thats usually the cause for bad efficiency

Also check the SFT oring. It is 17/70 also and is in the breach of the gun (barrel side). I have seen guns without those and when I put it back in the gun magically shoots 50-80 FPS higher... so that could be a cause too.

I would check the SFT oring, then the front of the two they have in that diagram up top.

Ok thanks for the help guys.

SFT O-ring is good. Checked the inner can orings and they seemed fine but I changed them anyway. I will try running my gun with the feather toch out and see how that works.

ALso how much will overboring kill your efficency? B/C I was overboring a bit yesterday....

Overboring will definitely kill your efficiency. Match the insert as closely as possible to the paint size.

2.0 core is legit.. not a fan of the Pooty bolt.. Although I have him spring all my Luxes

I cannot stress enough how important the third inner can oring is. I run the Viton 17/75`s and my Luxe ( all 3 of them ) shoot SMOOTH and efficient for what I want. 8-9 with a hopper on a hot 68/45.. solid numbers for a spoolie

dwell 11, FT out

Ok well I took my feather touch out, lowered my dwell to 11 and refit the drive with new orings so ill see if I get some improvements in efficency when I play this Saturday...

FT screw out will help out allot for sure. Reg and dwell pressure in some cases will be higher with it in. So take it out and see if it gets better. Cant hurt either to clean your reg and make sure your manifold screw is not that far in. Goes for any powercore

Yea I fit the orings on my core and took the ft out. manifold is 1 turn from flush and dwell @ 11 so I will see what happens once I get some air.

Trying to stay on the OP's topic and not hijack his thread..... What does the FT do to hurt efficiency. I know it slows the bolts forward movement down but how does that lower its efficiency?

If you change more than one thing at once, you might fix the bad efficiency (which is great), but you won't know which change fixed it in order to avoid future issues.
