Bit of a problem:(

I seem to be having the problem of my gun wont turn on.Its not the battery,as being a previous eblade owner thats always the first thing I check. But its the button on the gun,it seems to not like making a connection. It takes close to a minute to turn on if it even decides to at all.Anyone out there wanna give me some advice as to what I can do short of buying a new board?

hmm... I'd take ur board out, and Try turning it on out of the body (take the board out and plug the battery in)

there are only a few simple causes...

The switch is bad (it got hit hard or something)

the switch is being de-taches from the bord

there is a short circut somewhere...

The thing i'd do would be check all ur solder connections on the board... have u changed ur switch? when did this start?

If everything seems good, what i'd do would be bring ur board to an electronics store, and ask them if they have one of the switches that are on your board, then replace the switch like ur replacing a trigger switch.

ok well i took your advice metallicafan it works but im pretty sure the buttons gone so im gonna have to look for a new possiably metal one.The reason i know its gone is it wont turn on with the board out..unless i short out the two pins of the switch.im gonna try re-soldering it to the board but if that fails anyone know where i can get one?

Try re-soildering it, but most likley it's busted

What i'd do would be un-solder it (use a wick so u don't **** ur board up) then go to radio shack and ask them if they have the switch... just use that switch, don't replace w/ metal... that'd be gay

man, i hate double posting...

Since the Gun is turned on by holding a power switch on, if u where slick what yuo could do would be get a dual switch toggel switch from radio shack, solder if it, then flip it on until the board boots up to the right mode then flip it back off

and metal being stronger isn't always true, sometimes it makes the situation worse

it means u have a faulty switch.. mine did that xact same thing.. it was so bad to the point where the gun would turn on by itself sometimes .....id suggest getting it replaced.. and keeping the battery out of it till u do
