One, stragicly placed low yeld nuke, set off in just the right city, would effectvely halt 90% of the hostilities for quite a while, hell the shock value alone would make people stop for a good deal of time.

Don't be a dumb****. The expulsion of the Jews from the region took place centuries ago and whomever lived on the land before the creation of Israel had nothing to do with what happened back then. The Arabs and Muslims that lived in the area were there legitimately. To suggest that the Jews had a legal right to the land because they lived there centuries ago is asinine. The Zionist movement reclaimed the land by force and coerced Arab Muslims and Jews into leaving through the use of violence and intimidation.

I get my daily highlights from http://blog.foreignpolicy.com. They do a decent job of catching the good stuff... when I'm feeling particularly hawkish, I check out www.clarityandresolve.com.

Pilman, I don't understand why we have to pay israel to be out ally. We've given them enough already, they wouldn't turn their back on us if we just stopped giving them money. We shouldn't have to buy allies.

I agree. If you want to use the logic that the Jews were first, then why don't we give 100% of the united state's land back to native american tribes?

Because it is easier to discount those uncomfortable facts that are inconvenient to your irrational and indefensible position.

Duh
