So am I seeing things or was Team Fox in 5th place going into finals? Shouldn't Dirty Dreamz have played in Semi's?

The time shown is the time remaining, Fox had more time on the board.Dirty Dreams had one more point because they played 1 more game L W L but lost the set. Hope that helps.

beat on time by a minute i guess....but that wasn't the call at the field. Rule book was changed after prelims. they beat us head-to-head. not mention someone that played on after getting blasted and ran down the field to shoot us in the back. eh...paintwars happen. See everyone at the next event.

Fox and DD where tied after the prelims. The tie breaker was decided by head to head competition. We did not change any rules. We simply noticed the the tie breaker rules need to be changed and will be by the end of this week.

Ok, help me out because I am really confused now. DD had 5 pts and Fox 4 pts. Hows was this a tie? Then a tie in points should come down to time dosent it?

This same thing happen in the Firstcall challenge event. There were 4 teams that had a score of 4. I thought the Regulator Kids should have made the semis as the #3 seed as they had the best time. But was told that Fox got the #3 seed because they had the extra point from the rubber game.
This knocked Regulator Kid's out of the semis.
The scoring needs to stay consistant for the season as teams are losing points or gaining points via this. Now DD got bumped for the opposite.
Not complaining here but trying to understand and seek consistancy.

Once again the tie was broken by the head to head match up between DD and Fox. (at the DMC)
At the FCC. There where 8 teams. That provided 2 brackets of 4 for the scoring. We took the top two from each bracket. There was no tie in the bracket that would effect the teams moving on.

I know this has been addressed, the scores are in and there's no changing what happened. It was NOT based on time this event, but in looking at the score sheet I really don't think it should ever be. If we played an extra game then of course we're going to have less time remaining. Head-to-head was the best call in the situation, and that's where we lost the tie breaker. Good call by Chad.
