Exactly what my point was. If you're buying markers based on their ability to fit criteria of efficiency, smoothness, quiet shot, and easy maintenance, then who cares what the drive is. G6R does it all.

Ive been a lifelong fan of BL products, i think if he made a spool, he would incorperate his own twist on it that only bob can do. I would def buy it and rep his products with passion and Loyalty!

I personally really like spool valves. Just recently I had a friend buy one of my 2011 G6r's and I'm trying to decide between buying a new 2012 G6r or a new DM12.

If Bob came out with a really nice spool, especially if it used alot of the same universal parts as the G6r (regs, feedneck, eyes, possibly board?) then I'd be interested for sure.

Edit: Evolve bolt kits in DM3s were supposed to get in the 1600-1800 range nearly 10 years ago. I'd assume Bob could atleast match that if not improve it by a bit.

Spoken like a true fan boy.

My point here is, what it was a complete failure? I'm not suggestion the guys at BLAST can't do it or would even release a sub-par product. Would you buy it just because it's made by BL even if there were other products that out performed it?

i love spools. bob long should make a spool. bob long makes good guns. but no spool can top the droid/clone platform. the GT is the sickest marker ever created. in my eyes the droid was a game changer in spool valve markers - in terms of quiet shot, low "kick", low operating pressures, and most importantly in a spool valve; efficiency.

I currently own two intimidators - gen 3 and gen 4 and have owned many, loved them all. Besides the clone the finest marker on the market is the G6R.

i dont belive in all this crap of flat shot vs curved and different shots from poppets and spools - but I do like the way spool valve markers "feel" to me. once again, the closest thing to that for me is the g6r.

People buy ego's even though the G6R is available.

I guess it was just a statement that people would buy it because it is made by a name that they like. Even if there are simular products that might be considered "superior" to it. I have a good feeling that Bob wouldn't release a spool valve marker because it seemed like a cool idea. It would first come down to whether or not creating one would be feasible for his company.

I am close the this opinion myself, however, I am not going so far to say nothing can top it. If Bob made a comparable gun to the clone then he might even get the edge because of BLASTs fantastic customer service. I a MacDev fanboy, so the performance would definitely have to be there for Bob's gun.

i personally dont care for spoolies. they dont seem to have the same preformance over a long time, only a couple years max. and their poor preformance in colder weather and poor air consumpsion have made me stick to poppits.

Not arguing, but I live in montreal and Clones perform very well in the cold weather..

Yea my Geo2 was fine in the cold too, but spool efficiency is generally just poor so I've stopped bothering with them. Before you tell me Clones and Droids have great efficiency though, I will tell you I just do not like how they look because they remind me too much of my old Shocker haha.

If bob can make a gun like the g6r, in America, and make it cost less then 1,000 dollars, I think he could make a really nice budget gun

I'd make an etek killer before I made a spool.

Worrying about being "agg" got you the worst high-end spool on the market. Geos are absolute garbage compared to the other high-end spools. Lucky for you, if Bob makes a spool it'll probably look good too.

No I wasn't worried about being "agg", I just knew PE had a good rep of quality products and I actually loved the Geo2 styling unlike the fugly Droids/Clones. Was thinking DM but they have a mixed rep too.

Lol seriously. I used to think the same thing after going from spools to an Ego, but then after using my G6R for a while I realized it was all perception and that my G6R is a boss
