Finally replied. Been busy with other stuff so hadn't had time previously. Sadly, the other forum I'm on multiple people wanted the parts of that Quest the second I decided I was getting rid of it.

Being parted with the body. Selling the body nearly fully intact w/ stock HPR and a stock 06 pin & GM bolt. Just no ASA and will need AT MINIMUM the solenoid gasket, maybe the whole solenoid.

Haha... well, you do have a point there.

I'm hoping that the coil comes in around ~$15, especially since it is one of the more standard parts. The coil doesn't really change too much within the solenoid series, but the manifold and spool do.

Doesn't SMC still produce those noids? If I didn't have an 07 Critical, I might have considered repairing it, but...I do have an 07 Critical.

SMC does still produce the noids and from my past dealings with them, they are pretty decent about keeping substitute upgrades as well. If I really cared, both parker and humpries probably have something that will work well too.

Fair enough... like I said, I am working with SMC now to get the coil only part number for those of us who still want to shoot a quest every now and then.

That said, Steam is having their christmas sale, Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion on sale for $20. Pretty good game if you're into the RTS 4x genre.

Good luck Fallin, I am a dealer here in TN and I can't get them. The shops that still have some have almost tripled the price because they can't get anymore. It has gotten beyond crazy here the the South.

We spoke with another dealer here in my county and he said out of his four biggest wholesalers they just tell you what they have and you either order or don't. If you start to ask questions they tell you that they don't have time because of the number of other dealers on the lines waiting to buy and politely hang up on you. It has gotten that bad.
