Got a heavy leak that starts as soon as i air up the marker. It is coming from in between the body and the grip frame. Anybody want to shine some light on the situation. The gun is pretty much brand new still and has had problem after problem

That might be the seal around the air port into the solenoid or manifold, I apologize If I'm not stating the correct names. Check out this video and start at about the 11 minute mark and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I'd check the manifold o-rings and gaskets. I'd also check the o-rings on the air transfer pipe. Let me know if you need more help.

After removing the solenoid and looking down on the marker with the reg at the top and where the solenoid was at the back. I found a peice of oring half hanging out of the manifold hole on the right hand side of the marker. pulled it out and relubed all the gaskets as I dont have replacements and its doing the exact same thing once I had it all together. Could one of the orings on the reg or bolt cause this sort of leak?

Did you check all the manifold gaskets? The o-ring had to come from somewhere. Are you sure it was an o-ring and not the QEV diaphragm which has occasionally been shredded and sucked into different parts of the marker? That really sounds like your diaphragm got sucked out the exhaust hole.

I did check all the gaskets and they were all in place. The piece of oring i found was thicker then a gaskets diameter. I have never taken apart the gun far enough to get to the qev diaphragm so ill do that now and update you.

Lol more like a performance gain. No more unreliable qev issues

It means more reliability for the 2013s since we don't have to worry about the diaphragm failing. That means happier customers, which means happier company.

I have a 13 and it is AWESOME....I have an Avalanche 12 as well. 2013 is way better...shipping the 12 out to be changed over to 13
