Nope, just the one pack. Had to get someone in another state to do my bidding, PA is no fun.

I didn't feel like driving to Sac proper but the place closest to me sold out by the time I came through. Picked up some Five Golden Rings, Jack D'Or(2.99 a bomber sounds like a steal to me), and a bottle of Bier de Noel from Big Sky.

Well I guess The Abyss has hit NM. Was too busy with work today to grab some, but I'm gonna go try to pick up a few bottles tomorrow

EDIT: Currently sipping on a Stone Mint Chocolate Imperial Stout, not bad cold, but as it warms the mint kinda starts tasting a bit artifical.

^If there's one thing I learned it's that you can't sleep on Abyss hitting the shelves. that **** moves so fast out here it isn't funny if a store doesn't limit bottles. If you can get it in bulk though drop me a line. that beer is currently my Moby dick and I'd love to get 4-6 bottles. I'll even drive out to Russian River and pick you up stuff dollar for dollar(gas is on me because I love visiting that area) if you're into that sort of beer.

they were likely trying to move out what they had because they probably consider it a seasonal. Jolly Pumpkin La Parcela was only 6.99 and that's normally a 13-15 dollar bottle. last year they were in such a hurry to move that and noel de calabaza that they were 4.99 a bottle a couple weeks after the holidays ended. Alaskan Baltic Porter is back if you want a bottle, it's like drinking a chocolate covered cherry but not in an artificially sweet or gay way.

drank a couple celebrations tonight. trying to get rid of the IPAs before I fly out next week.

Great thing about living in NM is we have The Abyss on the shelves well into the spring. I'll see what I can do about picking up a few extras, there shouldn't be a limit, wasn't one last year.

because they normally don't distribute. If you want it you have to go to the abbey in Belgium to get it and you have to hope that they have it. that's actually a good price for six bottles because they used to sell on ebay for about 15-20 a pop.

So I only managed to score 5 bottles today. Shop only had 7 and I felt like being nice and left 2 behind. But I got one for SEK and two for you NE if you're interested. I can try some more stores next week to get a couple more for you if you'd like.

I was a big fan of the Dogma, and the Biere D'Hougoumont is pretty well balanced.

I'm drinking Deschutes' Jubelale, probably switch to something a little darker in a bit.
