I have only wiped 4 or five times since I started playing all of them were in recball. one of which was today.
This kid and me were snapping for at least a minute. He wiped at least twice on really obvious hits because the ref was on the other side of the field, one on the loader and a double tap on the elbow. a few seconds later he got a shot on my knee that broke so I kneeled and rubbed it in the dirt. ended up getting him again and the ref finally called him out.
I know two wrongs don't make a right but I feel that it was justified.
because it came out of ****ing nowhere and i was like wtf?, that souldnt have hit me! so i wiped that **** off lol and also i will cheat if i dont like the ****er that shot me or if the other team is known for cheating to so it makes it a fair game
These are the players that i dont like, you wipe cuz oh ''that should not have hit me'' Well it did hit you, becuase the other player is better than you, and dont bring your personal grudges into the game... its supposed to be fun for everyone.
1. Yes only a few times and I felt like a dick afterwards.
2. I got shot right at the break in the woods and didn't want to walk back , haha. A ref said "I didn't see anything" so I played on and mostly hung back and helped a young kid.
I've been shot on my butt (friendly fire?) and there was no one behind me but I went out anyways. If I know it was friendly fire I won't go out cuz that guy's being either dumb or a dick.
I've wiped once, some kids with speedball guns came into a woodsball field filled with pumps and semis and ramped on us the entire time...kids dumped an entire case of paint in one game.

Never wiped a hit like this (link below), but the only time I've "wiped' is diving into a bunker. Since I play front D's, and take D1 off the break 95% of the time, sometimes I dive on a hit. I don't do it in practice, but do It sparingly in tournaments. I'm slightly ashamed to admit it, but it kinda is what it is. I'm small (5' 4") and fast, so I make the run clean a very high percentage of the time, but if I so to catch a ball, I dive on it some time depending on where I get sot. I dive anyways, so sometimes it's unintentional. It's usually not called a penalty, since I'm going in hot anyways. The ref will usually just call me out if he happens to see it. It is an art though...
Mind you, I've only gotten one day in so far(yesterday, in fact).
1.Nope, though I took a hit to my hopper without realizing it and traded a bit more paint with the guy before he tagged me in the shoulder and I called myself out. I saw the hit when I unshouldered my marker(it was on the blind side of the hopper). I apologized to the guy who got me out after the match was over.
2.Why cheat in a game I'm playing for fun? When I get shot out it gives me an opportunity to think about what I did wrong, to avoid getting out in the same method next round.
And i'm sorry, I don't buy the rationale that, "That guy was wiping, so that's why I wiped". I can't tell you how many times someone accuses me of wiping, walks over to me, then can't find a hit, then walks away.
Don't wipe, period. Justification will lead nowhere.
Just once where I was trying to teach noobs how to play and work the field. Got hit off the break with a bounce. No one else saw it so I rubbed against a bunker to keep working the field with them.
If I catch other guys wiping I get pissed, but get even by lighting them up. Hit them so many times they can't wipe them.
I have only done it once... and not even necissariky a wipe... i had just laned off the break and then bolted to the dorito corner. I was shooting tape and felt a mysterios drop shot on my left foot that came from a rouge shot from over top the W. I looked sown and saw broke paint on my foot and ignored it and kept playing lol. Shhhh..
Transversly... NOT getting shot and being called from across field.. i was in a D3 spot snapping with a guy at the first snake knuckle.. he started shouting hopper... the "ref" outside the fence was yelling to me amd i check my hopper like 3 times. NO PAINT. He kept shouting. I leaned back and shouted "im clean".. a kid ran to my mirror and was able to shoot me as i yelled toward the ref, so i popped back in and raised my hand and then feel my gun shake... THEN s1 got my hopper so as i stand uo and turn around ref yells, SEE!! PAINT ON UR HOPPER! I felt sheepish and for no reason at all...
