Download a crack that removes the time trial.

Ok, I am so confused about these layers, there is so much i want to be able to do, to start, i would like to be able to select one section of a picture and leave it color, but have the rest b/w. I took the entire picture, used the lasso to 'roughly' cut out the part i wanted color, and then i right-clicked, cut into new layer, but i had no idea what to do from there. Also, is there anyway to make it more precise of a cut job than i didn with the lasso? cause it looks like junk.

well, to get parts of your photo you want to be black and white, first select the area that you want to be colored, after youve done that hit shift+ctrl+I that will invert the selection, and now for the b/w part, hit ctrl+u, this will bring up the hue saturation box, grab the saturation tab and take it all the way to the left, that should make it the black and white u want, if not, play around with the tabs until desired quality is reached, then hit ctrl+D and wah-lah. And as for a more precise selection tool, use the pen tool, and make sure its just set to "path" instead of shape, and after youve made your desired shape of the cut out, right click and hit make selection and wah-lah.

Throw the ABR(i think thats the filetype) file into the Brush directory which is default at C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Presets\Brushes

I feel like a nerd pulling the exact default directory out of my head.... especially when im not using default.

Okay, I'm doing a layout for a friend. I'm no Photoshop pro, so I followed a tutorial word for word so far, and it looks great. I talked to the guy, and he said there was only one problem with it; the paintballs on the image are metallic green, and he said red and yellow halfshell or some red and some yellow paint would look better. How might I do this? The paintballs are on a seperate layer with nothing else on it. I can provide pics/PSDs if needed.

Also, how do you code something to be scalable (Like if the viewer is on a different resolution monitor)?

I can't believe I am asking this question,

But I've never really figured out the pattern of how the Polar Coordinates work and I was wondering how one could create the Rising Sun effect using Polar Coordinates.

Thanks

Make the hair a general color, ie. brown or black. Then use the pen tool and add shades then highlights.

Select all the parts you want to change the color of. Go to layers>new>layer via copy. Hit ctrl+shift+U to desaturate the selection. (make sure you are on the new layer) Then go to Image>adjustments>hue/saturation make sure you have preview and colorize checked. Adjust bars to desired color. Then go and adjust the brightness/contrast (image>adjustments>brightness/contrast).

Rinse and repeat.

I need some help with using the pen tool.
I just started using it about a week or so ago and somethings turn out good but others do not. My main question is how to do eyes, mouths, facial detail. Once i get home from school i host the pics i did and see what you guys think.
