First two tone attempt.

Screwed this one up pretty bad. The sloppy lettering is because I did it by hand. While I am good with my hands, I can't draw for crap. I'm gonna strip it tomorrow and try again. I've got a Fireball Mountain Cocker body coming that I want to do a red to black fade on. I don't want to ruin it, so all my junk Spyder bodies are becoming guinea pigs for practicing.

You might want to do a bit better surface prep next time as well.

Either polish it or bead blast it.

Consistency is key with anodizing.

Biggest problem was that I failed to rinse the acid off of the body before I dyed it. Then I forgot to warm the dye. I'm trying again now. I've been able to do single colors without issue. I just wanted to try something different.

Came out a little better this time, but still not perfect. I didn't buff it because I'm just going to strip it again tomorrow for some more practice.

I'm slowly getting better. Still a long ways to go. This barrel was pretty scratched up so the finish isn't as shiny as it could be.
