Once again you're trying to over simplify history and make up your own logic with no supporting evidence. We weren't invading a country in the middle east at the time of 9/11, and the vast majority of things that we have done there have been at the request of local leaderships. Why isn't Europe or Japan declaring jihad against the US? We have just as many bases there - in Japan they actually have to pay for the bases and the soldiers salaries as part of the nichibeiheiwajouyaku. And yes, whether or not 50% of the muslim population knows somebody or has a relative that was blown up by the US is important, because you cited as key evidence in your post.

You're so dumb. America has constantly been involved in the Middle-East since before you or I were born. The Iran-Iraq war? Supported and funded by the USA, that's the only way the Iraqi army could defeat a larger, and stronger Iranian army. Want more? What about the CIA's involvement in training and supplying muhajadeen forces to fight the Soviets in the Russian invasion of Afghanistan? What about the continual support of Israel, and Gaza, the largest open air prison in the world? Why isn't Europe or Japan declaring jihad on America? Well first of all you idiot, jihad is a MUSLIM activitiy, to mean "to strive or struggle in the way of God." The Koran does not advocate violence, but it does say that it is sometimes neccesary, just as the Bible does. Second of all, America is not bombing their homes, and killing their people and relatives daily.
