MAPL TO OFFER PUMP DIVISION AT 2013 STAR SPANGLED OPEN!
Mid-Atlantic Paintball League to add pump division for July competition at OXCC Paintball!
Chesapeake City, Maryland – After two successful tournaments woven between world-class professional events at OXCC Paintball, the Mid-Atlantic Paintball League is preparing for the third event of their 2013 season by adding a pump division! After receiving several inquiries from players throughout the Mid-Atlantic region about the possibility of offering a pump play at MAPL events, league promotion staff, including owner Rick Carver, Promoter Larry Motes, Logistics Director Jennifer Silverman and Marketing Director Joshua D. Silverman consulted with industry representatives and found ample support and excitement for such a division, culminating in the decision to offer it immediately! The MAPL Star Spangled Open, to be promoted July 13 and 14 at OXCC Paintball, will offer three-man and five-man divisional RaceTo paintball, as well as an open-class, three-man RaceTo pump division!
In addition to D4/5 three-man and five-man RaceTo divisional competitions already offered by the Mid-Atlantic Paintball League, the 2013 MAPL Star Spangled Open will include an open-class, three-man pump division! Intended to provide another option for current and new MAPL customers to enjoy competitive paintball, the open pump division offered by the MAPL at the Star Spangled Open will feature an affordable entry of only $100 per team and a generous prize package, soon to be announced, provided by generous industry supporters! Companies already aboard to support the pump division at the Star Spangled Open include Deadlywind and Pinokio. Deadlywind manufactures high-tech carbon fiber barrels that provide versatility, accuracy and light weight, traits critical for pump paintball success, while Pinokio produces some of the lightest, fastest and most reliable hoppers available.
