I've owned both the dlx powercore, and the pooty core. I prefer the pooty core. But if money isnt a problem then get the pooty. If your short on money get the power

Are you having FSDO problems? If not, you will not see an appreciable difference.

I recently put a 2.0 core in my 1.0 luxe and that's what I was able to do. I had a sprung and polished bolt that I couldn't get to shoot reliably (forget about putting in the FT or adjusting the manifold screw). I watched all the videos, read all the threads, and went through a whole bunch of replacement orings in an attempt to get it where I wanted it with no luck. Once I picked up a new 2.0 core, I was instantly able to install the FT but could only screw in the manifold 1.5 turns. Still, I'm seeing much much better results and it is still being broken in. The gun shoots super consistent and reliable, and I only have to pull out and relube the power core after each day of play. I spent a very long time trying to get this gun to shoot nicely until switching to the 2.0 core... afterwards the gun just worked. It was well worth the $100 for sure.

[edit]
Since I shot several cases after first installing the 2.0 core, I played around with the manifold screw and was able to move it in from 1.5 turns to 3 turns noticing a pretty significant reduction of kick and sound signature. It's cold outside today too (~50° F) which if anything makes it harder to turn down the manifold settings on the luxe. I might have been able to get to 3.5 turns, but I was using 15.5 bps ramping any my ear to set it. If I focused only on PSP 12.5 I might have been able to go a little further. Regardless, it felt/sounded even better after the tuning.
<-- This guy is happy.

From my experience 2.0 works easier. I always had o-ring issues with the pooty core.

I have been very successful using the settings from my Luxe 2.0 set by Pro Player Sam Monville of Houston Heat. I have three Luxe 2.0's from him and all are using mostly stock settings with the exception of the FSDO. I am running all stock settings using Monkey Poo with the exception of FSDO. Using Monkey Poo with a stock 2.0 core, all stock settings (Dwell 12.0) unless broken in (5 cases = dwell of 9), feather touch IN!, FSDO maxxed at 20, has worked flawlessly and have not had a single broken ball since I've owned the gun (5 cases), nor any FSDO. I just reduced the dwell to 9 and am consistent in velocity. All stock settings expect for FSDO at 20 with FT in and now dwell of 9. Smooth shooting and Draxus Gold paint with not one broken ball!
I love Pooty's stuff and I have used it in everything from Shockers, Vapors, and Luxe. The only drawback to the Luxe, is you can't run the feathertouch with the Pooty bolt. I have been using the stock 2.0 core in all three of my Luxe 2.0's using Monkey Poo with great results.
I have not had a single broken ball with a 2.0 core in over 5 cases using Draxxus gold paint with a 2.0 core and running a feathertouch system using all stock settings with the exception of FSDO set at 20. I have had no FSDO and consistant velocity using the feathertouch with all stock settings and FSDO at 20. I recently went to a dwell of 9 after 5 cases and everything is still top notch and not a single broken ball with brittle paint!
My buddy runs a full Pooty engine and has not experienced any problems as well ( no feathertouch ), but his gun is well broken in with a dwell of 12 and the manifold screw 1 and 1/2 tuns in, and a FSDO of 1. I hope this helps!
I hope this helps!
