Cocker LPR Mod

Good news for all of you as broke as me. I have come up with a way to get a cocker lpr onto your Wrath, without that $25 Zenitram piece, for about three bucks. It's really quite simple.

First, go to a hardware store in the plumbing section and pick up a 3/8" male to 1/8" male (female if possible here, I couldnt find one) fitting and a 1/8" female to 1/8" female fitting. EDIT: There IS a 1-Piece, nearly invisible (about 1/4" exposed) fitting for this. Look at a hardware store for a 3/8" x 1/8" hex bushing. Mine came with some nuts on the end, but you can toss those aside. Next, put the 3/8" male end of the first fitting into the breech where the stock lpr was, and then either put a 90* fitting on (then the 2nd fiting) or just go straight out with the female to female fitting. Make sure to teflon or loctite it, then put on the ASA of your choice! Im going to try painting it black to make it more invisible, stay tuned for results.

Two other ideas i had involved tapping a 1/8" hole in a 3/8" plug and taking the 1/8" threaded part of the lpr off and threading it directly on the fitting. I'd be interested to see how it turns out if you do either of these or somthing else of your own making, so post results! However you choose to do it, good luck.

Sorry for the poor quality pics, and know in adance that i think the color of the FGP looks crappy too, I'm going to paint or replace it in the ner future.

Add another 90*. Also, that $25 "Zenitram piece" is like a buck and a half at Ace.

Now that's clever. Good work, Squeaky!

Go post this in the Odyssey forum too.

I bet it works with the RPM too.

it didn't, but you could probably go to ace and pick up a double male nipple fitting of the same size as the hose and extend it without detatching the noid (mine's hardwired in anyway).

As for putting the fitting in the contraption, I don't know if it would work, but the most likley spot to tap would be the 90* fitting.

This is a great mod. You should have it stickied under the title "Make your marker a paperweight"; watch, it will be the best thing since sliced bread.

I will be able to use the gun, I'll just put the stock lpr back on till i get more hose.

And Aggs: If you don't like the mod, no one's telling you to do it. The actual part weighs in at about two ounces, so it's not a huge loss.... This was just an inexpensive way to get a cocker lpr on a Wrath. Did I do somthing to offend you? Whatever I did to make you hostile twoard me, I'm sorry....

If look back at the vast majority of my posts you will see that I have been hostile toward everyon on the forum at at least one point in time.

...anyone can insult somthing, that doesn't make you revered by your fellow paintballers. In case you don't realize, people don't appreciate, admire, or like someone with a reputation for trying to find faults in somthing. Let's try to keep this friendly.

I am always friendly, I don't think there is anyone on this forum would honestly say they don't like me, except Liquid, but he is a *******.

Furthermore, I find faluts in everything, but I am never an *** about unless I dont like the person. It is pretty much always in fun. It is hard to convey sarcasm on a forum, but if had been around teh forum long enough you would know that the majority of everything I say is sarcasm despite how assish it might sound.

You did say you are constantly hostile, so I guess i misinterpreted it (with good reason) but now I i know... in the future i'll... uh... ignore it? Not quite sure how to handle that... Anyway, I make my peace if you write in good spirit.
