Paintball U.S. Army Europe, Teams and the "F" Stamp
I recently moved to Vilseck and being from the states Im not used to all the rules that I now face while I'm living here. So I'm gonna start from the begining.
I dont know how it is at other bases, but Grafenwhoer and Rose Barracks both require your marker to have the infamous "F" stamp, this can be difficult but it is the law and if you get caught without it you could loose your marker, face a hefty fine or depending on the Polezi Jail. So dont transport it without it. Since I have a Planet Eclipse marker I contacted them and they reffered me to Paintball.de and they will do the required modifications and stamp my marker. The modifications can all be undone once i return to the states, they will modify a spring so that it can not mechanically fire over 212FPS and they are also going to flash my board and remove the PSP ability. The Process takes about a week and will cast about 100 euro.
I am looking for players in the Vilseck/Graf area to start playing once I get my stuff. I would even like to start playing on a team.
Also if you have a smart phone there is a free app that shows fields, prices, and events in Europe.

Hey groundhog6. I will be moving to Graf at the end of Dec from USA. I have an SP Ion Redz marker with a Ninja tank. I want to take all my paintball gear with me and was just doing some reading and found out about this F stamp deal. So even for my simple Ion marker I will have to get the stamp? can you provide me with the name or contact of the person that will modify your marker so I can get mine done as well. I haven't played paintball yet with my marker (just shoot some to measure speed), its been stored in a bag with all my gear (all my new 2009 proto gear that I have never worn cause the field nearby closed right after I got my stuff)...so I will love to play once I get there. Any help will be appreciate it.
thanks

Glad to hear that there are more people coming here. Ive only been to one field since I got here and it was nice but to far to go back to. There are a few that are closer that I do plan to hit after the new year. I did get my gun stamped just to be safe and a few of my buds that have been here a while said they have been checked only a few times. We are looking to start a Mil only tournament on our post this summer and want to make it a Commanders Cup Tourney. So if you can get a team in your unit let us know and we can start putting names and teams together.

You dont "have" to have an F stamp. I never did and I played DPL, BPL, and Millenium without it. And they don't modify you for 212fps lol. All the leagues shoot 300.
Go here to find a field: http://pbhub.de/atlas/
There are tons of teams in your area. I'll be back spring of next year. Can't wait to get back into tournaments.
Have fun.

Belgium is nice, but it's an indoor field and there is only one field. Best turf I've ever been on though. They usually have good tournaments around christmas time. Then the BPL starts and then everyone plays in the DPL.

They got the shoot Santa tourney and the winter BPL 5 days. They also have an outdoor field they just use the indoor field during winter because it's much more convenient to be inside.
