I think they took a leave of absence, if you will, for a period of time. Something about, they didnt have people who had the time to properly run and support the team. At least, thats what i remember hearing....
kinda weird tho because back in 06 through 09 i think there was lot of up and coming killers in Miami DC Devious , RNT , STK soo... i find it hard to get these young guns in the team back then... sucks tho Miami is missing out!!
the recession happened certain players couldn't play and make ends meet. it happens I know some of them dropped the sport to do things like start families and be responsible.
