1975 Firebird

Just curious, how much do any of you would think this is worth?
It has a 350 auto, original Pontiac rims, only 84,763 miles.
There are no problems with car except it has 2 rips in drivers seat and a rust hole in trunk.
I currently have a 1998 firebird.
Is this one really worth $6,000, It's beautiful but what's its real value?
Opinions?

That's what I thought, but It's a girl trying to get rid of it for "a chick car" which i'm assuming she knows nothing about cars, nor does she care.

150hp V8 is a chick car, she doesn't know she's sitting on a goldmine.

If you look on craigslist and ebay they are worth about 4-6 grand depending on condition. However you can get a pretty decent 90s trans am for that price.

Well I currently have a '98 firebird, but I was looking into getting an older one, just to have pretty much, but not a daily driver.

I had a 74 Formula 400,with a 400/400 package ,doubt that hood is original equiptment, even for low miles Id say its a little high considering current market for old vehicles. Its probably a real dog too,my old Integra had more horsepower,1st year of catalytic converter too and choked with smog crap

Still, it's pretty easy/cheap to get 300 hp with that motor with minor modifications as a historic car doesn't need cats in NJ

Why would they? Unless their exhaust is making people deaf I don't see why he would get pulled over.

Jersey cops have a blast with historic vehicles.

Wouldnt surprise me if they keep a schedule of car shows

Small rust hole in trunk?

Cancer. If it has a rust hole in the trunk, more than likely it's rusted in other places.

but like i said, historic tags in nj can have i think up to 1,500 miles a year. (i'm not sure on that) and i already stated i wasn't going to have it for a daily driver, i already have a firebird for my daily driver. Also, just because i'm a girl doesn't mean i'm going to the mall every weekend, and even if i did decide to drive it to the mall on a weekend that doesn't mean i'll get pulled over and if i did since its not a daily driver there should be no issue. i've never heard of anyone with a classic car having issues with the NJ police anyway. and even in the "boondocks" the cops are more likely not to mess with you. the majority of cops where i live i know, and from my experience with cops, they're more likely to pull someone over in somewhere like AC rather than the boondocks.
